North Nixa Baptist Church was founded in 1987 to spread the gospel in the quickly growing community. Pastor Jim Schudy led the new congregation from 1987 – 1995.

Pastor Fred Bobe served from 1996 – 2001. Under his leadership, the church completed four building expansion projects. One addition was a Family Life Center with a full-sized basketball court and fully equipped kitchen.

Pastor Jerry Francisco was called in 2002 and served until his retirement in 2016. He led the church to begin Upward Basketball, AWANA, the Living Nativity, and a New Testament Marketplace style of Vacation Bible School.

Later in 2016, Pastor Mark Arnold was called to lead the church as the Transitional Pastor. He has engaged the congregation in a self-study process that uses goal setting to strengthen the mission of the church. This information is used to guide the Pastor Search Committee as they seek the Lord’s guidance in calling the next Senior Pastor.
