The Youth Director will lead our youth ministry through Christ-centered teaching, discipleship, and opportunities for youth to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities include:

•          Develop and communicate a clear vision for the youth ministry that aligns with the mission and values of North Nixa Baptist Church.
•          Lead and oversee weekly youth gatherings that encourage youth to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
•          Teach and communicate biblical truth in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and relevant to students.
•          Work closely with the Associate Pastor in the continued development of the youth ministry, partnering in teaching, discipleship, and ministry planning while building upon the foundation already established.
•          Build intentional relationships with youth, encouraging spiritual growth, accountability, and discipleship.
•          Plan camps, retreats, mission opportunities, outreach events, and fellowship activities to encourage youth to become actively involved in the life of the church and in service opportunities
•          Partner with parents in the spiritual development of their youth.
•          Evaluate and improve current youth ministry efforts while remaining focused on biblical discipleship and helping youth know and follow Christ.
•          Foster a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for all youth.

The Worship Director will lead our contemporary worship service in authentic, Christ-centered worship while developing, discipling, and overseeing our worship and production ministry volunteers.

Responsibilities include:

•          Develop and communicate a clear vision for the worship ministry that aligns with the mission and values of North Nixa Baptist Church.
•          Select worship songs that are biblically sound, Christ-centered, and appropriate for the congregation.
•          Recruit, train, develop, and disciple worship and production team members.
•          Plan and lead weekly rehearsals and prepare the team to serve with humility during weekly services, special services, or other church events.
•          Provide oversight of worship and production equipment, ensuring it is properly maintained, updated, and utilized effectively while identifying needs and making purchases that support the ministry’s growth.
•          Provide leadership and oversight for all production ministries, including sound, presentation/display software, video and camera operation, and live streaming.
•          Continually evaluate and improve the worship experience while remaining focused on glorifying God.
•          Encourage and pray for worship and production volunteers, helping them both spiritually and in their areas of service.

For Youth Director:

•          Strong relational skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students and their families.

For Worship Director:

•          Strong vocal and musical ability.
•          Familiarity with worship technology, audio systems, presentation software, and live streaming is preferred.
